ART IN
WOOD
USE OF CERTIFIED WOOD WASTE
CONNECT WITH DESIGNERS IN EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCES
WOOD HISTORY TRANSFORMED INTO UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES
WHEN TIME BECOMES SHAPE
Wood is more than material. It is memory.
It carries within its core silent stories — traces of time, of use, of the lives it once surrounded.
It has been a wall, a floor, a home. And now, it is reinvented as art.
Turning wood into art is an act of listening and respect. It is allowing the past to converse with the present through design, creativity, and intention.
By using waste from certified wood, we give new meaning to what would otherwise be discarded — it is the residue of the residue: wood that has already lived other lives and is now transformed once again into unique pieces, full of identity, emotional depth, and positive environmental impact.
Each creation carries the aesthetics and texture of history — and the power to connect people to nature in a sensitive and conscious way.
Collaboration with designers and artisans enriches this journey even further. With sharp eyes and skilled hands, they shape the wood into objects that go beyond function: gifts, corporate keepsakes, decorative pieces — always unique, always memorable.
Choosing wood art means choosing authenticity, sustainability, and timeless beauty.
It is the transformation of raw material into emotion, connection, and legacy.
Feel the texture. See the time. Offer memory.
"Make your corporate gifts impactful with the uniqueness of sculpted wood."

We pollinate change in nature by uniting Architecture, Design, Beekeeping, and Sustainable Wood.
The Abelha Arquiteta project was born as an extension of Arte em Madeira, combining ecological design and urban beekeeping under the same philosophy of reuse, beauty, and sustainability.

THE IMPORTANCE OF BEES TO THE WORLD
Bees are much more than honey producers — they are true guardians of life.
They play a vital role in maintaining biodiversity and ensuring global food security. Approximately 75% of flowering plants depend on pollination to reproduce, and bees are responsible for around 80% of this essential process. This includes many of the fruits, vegetables, grains, and nuts we consume daily.

Beyond food production, bees support wildlife. By pollinating native plants, they help preserve entire habitats, benefiting hundreds of other species. They are silent protagonists in soil fertility, climate regulation, and ecological balance.
However, this delicate system is under threat. Pesticide use, climate change, habitat destruction, and the spread of diseases have caused a concerning global decline in bee populations.
Protecting bees is protecting ourselves.
Supporting conservation initiatives ensures that nature’s cycle continues to thrive, paving the way for a healthier, more balanced, and sustainable future for all.
WHEN WOOD SHELTERS LIFE
At the heart of the Abelha Arquiteta Project lies a simple and powerful belief: art can transform the world — starting with giving new life to what would otherwise be discarded.
We use reclaimed wood from the dismantling of old homes in the countryside of Paraná. Once used as flooring, these fragments of history are reborn as functional and poetic creations. They carry memory and purpose — transformed into shelters for pollinators, landscaping elements, meaningful corporate gifts, and invitations to reconnect with nature.
Our work brings together architecture, signature design, and urban meliponiculture through two main lines:

BEE HOTEL
Developed for solitary bees — essential for the pollination of flowers, vegetable gardens, and fruit trees — the hotel combines ecological design with biodiversity conservation. Ideal for gardens, balconies, parks, and green spaces.

Although they do not produce honey, solitary bees are essential pollinators, responsible for the pollination of many plants — including agricultural crops and native flowers.
Their pollination activity ensures fertilization and the production of fruits and seeds, making them vital to the health of ecosystems and to global food security.
BEE HOUSE
BEE HOUSE
The Bee House is a collaboration between Tetrus, Beemyguardian, and architect Dante Furlan, bringing together sustainable design, technical expertise, and environmental technologies.
Together, we developed an innovative project that promotes pollination, strengthens the ecosystem, and supports sustainability — ensuring the preservation of bees.

JATAÍ BEE – A NATIVE SPECIES OF BRAZIL
This bee house was specially designed for the Jataí bee, a stingless species native to Brazil, known for its gentle nature and adaptability.
Jataí bees build their colonies in trees, walls, rooftops, and specially designed boxes. Small and golden, they are true “urban pollinators,” capable of thriving in densely populated environments.
With proper care, the Jataí plays a crucial role in environmental preservation, proving that coexistence between nature and urban life is not only possible — it's essential.
PROJECT CONCEPT
SUSTAINABLE MATERIAL
At Tetrus, we prioritize the use of reclaimed and FSC® certified wood (FSC-C184976) in our projects, ensuring the traceability of wood for civil construction and design.
The bee house was no different. It was created from wood flooring waste recovered from homes in rural Paraná, contributing to the circular economy and giving new life to reused materials.

DESIGN
The design of the bee house, created by architect Dante Furlan, brings a sensitive and thoughtful vision to the project.
Combined with a technical and meticulous approach, the structure offers thermal comfort, proper ventilation, and protection from the elements — ensuring maximum functionality and well-being for its distinguished inhabitants.
The modular structure is made from high-resistance wood, which facilitates maintenance and enhances durability.

In partnership with Bee My Guardian, a company that provides support and consulting for the care and management of bee colonies.

The bee house or hotel is the perfect choice for wooded areas, blending harmoniously with the landscape design.
